A clever royal hack!
Wherever she goes, Meghan Markle always looks impeccable – from head to toe. Her looks are almost always completed with a pair of killer heels. And although she regularly wears a different pair from her well-stocked shoe closet, it is noticeable that the Duchess of Sussex always seems to wear her heels a size or two too big.
Living on a grand scale
Fashion expert Harriet Davey once told The Sun that there is a good reason for Meghan’s ill-fitting shoes. “Celebrities often opt for a size larger, or even two sizes, when they go to the red carpet or an event. They do this to avoid blisters. There is nothing worse than uncomfortable shoes and when celebrities like Meghan wear high heels for a long time, their feet can swell.”

The trick
Okay, that makes sense, we’ve all been there. Blisters from here to Tokyo after a night out. But surely it’s impossible for Meghan to walk comfortably in shoes that are way too big? According to Harriet, there is a trick for that. “The trick is to fill the tip of the shoe with, for example, a tissue or cotton ball.” Aha, that’s how Meghan does it!
Ten centimeters
The anti-blister hack is much needed considering that the sky-high shoes from Aquazurra are a favorite of the Duchess.

She wore Aquazurras to her wedding in May 2018 and to many other events, both during and after her royal years. Meg especially likes this Deneuve heel (see the black one above). They are high heels with a ten centimeter long stiletto. The heel has an elegant design and a bow at the back. The Bow Tie Pump is still available – don’t forget to order a size too big!
