Howard Carpendale (77) has become an integral part of the music industry. The singer’s big breakthrough came at the end of the 70s with his mega hits “Ti amo” and “Hello Again”. In 2003, the South African native announced his retirement from the business. Five years later he celebrated his big comeback. In the future, however, the composer actually wants to slow down: next year Howard Therefore, touring Germany one last time!
In an interview with Superillu, the 77-year-old now reveals that he is planning his last big tour of Germany in 2024. After that, Howard would like to limit himself to concerts – preferably several in a row in one city to avoid the stress of traveling. “It’s better for the climate if you don’t drive around with ten semi-trailers,” explains the “Why Are You Dancing So Alone” interpreter.
His last tour starts on May 14th in Zwickau. Howard chose the starting location carefully. “I still have some deficits when it comes to East Germany,” he openly admits, adding: “Because of my South African passport and the fact that I moved to America when the wall came down, there is still some room for improvement there.” That’s why the musician wants to make up for it now.
