But the teacher soon becomes a student: he is one of the candidates for this year’s Let’s Dance season. Normally, the celebrities on “Let’s Dance” only start dance training a few weeks before the start. The 53-year-old confirmed his supporters’ suspicions online: “Hip-hop is something completely different than standard dance. I always compare it to this: Imagine that you have always written with your right hand all your life and now you have to you write with your left.” Detlef can’t seem to let his anticipation of taking part in his dream format get away from him.
