He doesn’t give up. Aaron Rodgers (40) played for the Green Bay Packers for almost 20 years. That changed at the start of the current season – the football player moved to the New York Jets. But his stint didn’t last too long: the quarterback tore his Achilles tendon in his first game. Although he will be out for the rest of the season after his operation, the athlete is in good spirits. Aaron doesn’t even think about quitting.
On the “Pat McAfee Show,” the 40-year-old made it clear: “I don’t think next year will be my last year.” Instead, his move to the new team gave him new drive. He “has the feeling that [er] play for more years and see you in [seine] “I want to be on the starting line-up at 40, I want to be on the starting line-up at 41, I want to see what I can get out of this body.” Nevertheless, he will be his teammates have to support from the sidelines for the time being.
In September, the sports star contacted his fans shortly after his operation. He shared a snapshot from the hospital bed on Instagram and wrote: “Surgery went well yesterday. Thank you for all the love, prayers and support.” In the photo, Aaron grins visibly exhausted into the camera.
