Cillian Murphy’s (47) wife must have had a little mishap. The actor had something to celebrate last Sunday. Thanks to his performance in the lead role in the historical drama “Oppenheimer”, he was not only celebrated worldwide – he also took home the Golden Globe for Best Actor. And his wife Yvonne McGuinness was apparently just as happy: Cillian accepted the award with her lipstick on her nose.
As Cillian’s Name was mentioned and he was allowed to come forward to collect his trophy, he was beaming all over his face and with a strikingly red tip of his nose. Like, among other things, Ok! Reportedly, he began his acceptance speech with a grin: “First question: Do I have lipstick all over my nose? I just wanted to leave it there.” Although he didn’t reveal how the red lipstick got there, it’s obvious that his Yvonne was behind it. She had bright red lips that evening.
With his Yvonne is Cillian married since 2004. Together the couple have two sons, whom they raise in the film stars’ homeland of Ireland. But they met in London. He told The Guardian that he now prefers to raise his children close to their grandparents. He also likes the idea of his boys “growing up Irish.”
