The new couple has already made it Insta-official!
After her relationship with Robbert Kroese ended, Monica Geuze was single for a while. However, her single life was short-lived, because she now has a new flame. For a moment we were in the dark about the man who captured the presenter’s heart, but the first snapshots of the brand new couple are now online.

Monica’s life has of course been in the spotlight for years and, especially during her vlog period, fans have also experienced a lot with her in terms of love. At the beginning of her career she was with Jorik Scholten, a little later she had a daughter with footballer Lars Veldwijk and then she fell in love with Robbert Kroese. Sadly, that relationship also ended after three years. The last break was very difficult for the presenter, as she said in Open Kaart at the time. “That phase of intense grief in particular lasted a really long time,” she reflects. “Then the summer came and things went well again and I could appreciate being single at times.”
New love
At the beginning of April, Monica came with some nice news in an episode of her podcast Geuze & Gorgels. “I have a boyfriend again,” the presenter shared. Besides the fact that she was happily in love again, Mo did not want to say much about her love life. “That’s all I’m going to say about it. Point.” She did say that she was completely over the moon with her new boyfriend. “I’m very happy and that’s it.”

We now know who the lucky one is and can call himself Monica’s new lover: professional footballer James Lawrence. And this weekend the first real snapshot of the couple actually appeared on Instagram. Last Sunday, the couple celebrated freedom with a group of friends at the Amsterdams Verbond festival. Here, presenter and good friend of Monica, Robbert Rodenburg, shared a snapshot of the company via his Instagram Stories. From now on, the still early relationship is also Insta-official!

The Bachelor
While Monica herself is happy in love again, we can see every week on Videoland how she guides Paul and Rien in their search for true love in The Bachelor. This season there are not one, but two men filling the role of bachelor. This means that not only will there be twice as many ladies participating, but that we can also count on twice as much romance, lust and dates.
And according to Monica, who has of course experienced it all up close, it can also lead to quite a bit of drama. “In practice, there is of course a lot of risk of becoming a bit messy,” she previously told RTL Boulevard. “But messy can also equal a little juicy.” Sounds good!
