Bad news for Archetypes fans!
For a while, it seemed like Meghan Markle’s podcast, Archetypes, would soon be revived. However, those plans have now been put on hold. However, according to various sources, there is a good reason for this!

Earlier this year there was good news for fans of Archetypes, the podcast that Duchess Meghan launched on Spotify in 2022. After that collaboration (not very amicable, if we can believe Spotify insiders) ended, it became quiet around the show for a while. However, in March there was the happy news that the podcast had been given a new home and a new jacket.
This was not a total surprise for followers of the Duchess of Sussex: in February, Meghan had already announced that she was joining forces with the Lemonada platform.
Season two?
It was supposed to be the starting signal for a relaunch of Archetypes. At the beginning of last month, it was announced in a big way that the podcast would now also be available in other places in addition to Spotify. The parties were still tight-lipped about a possible second season, but the rumor mill was certain: the next season of Archetypes was on its way.
However, the renewed production seems to have already been put on hold. Royalty watcher Richard Eden writes that the relaunch will have to wait at least until next year. It is said that it is due to the fact that Meghan is a particularly busy bee at the moment. After all, it was announced two weeks ago that she would produce a new series for Netflix, about ‘cooking and gardening, entertainment and friendship’.
“Lemonada does not want the launch of the podcast to be overshadowed by the former actress’s new series,” Eden writes for The Daily Mail. “Lemonada is also said to be concerned about scheduling issues with the launch of the podcast and Meghan’s lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.”

Enterprising lady
Of course we know that the duchess has been an enterprising power woman for years. After four years of absence from social media, she recently launched her new label: American Riviera Orchard with a brand new Instagram account. The brand has also sent its first items to some people from the duchess’s inner circle.
It concerns a series of limited edition jam jars, of which only fifty are in circulation. Designer Tracy Robbins and entrepreneur Delfina Blaquier already shared a few sneak peeks of the particularly tasty products.
It seems that Meghan’s priorities for now are launching her new brand. And then the Duchess is of course full of new experiences and stories for the next season of Archetypes. Right, Meghan?
