All that drama over…breakfast.
Last Thursday it was time for a new episode of The Real Housewives of Amsterdam. And that this episode was packed with drama again, that’s one thing for sure. This time it was Djamila and Tamara who got into trouble with each other. Oh oh…
Last breakfast
After a few fun days in Mallorca – with the necessary discussions, drama and disagreements in between – the girl trip at Djamila’s home comes to an end. However, the last breakfast, or rather the lack thereof, is once again causing a discussion. Tamara lets us know that she missed breakfast on the last day. And while she doesn’t actually eat breakfast at all, because she ‘lives like hunters and gatherers’. Tamara previously said that she only eats her first meal around noon. The only thing she consumes in the morning is a large amount of pills. And yet she missed breakfast on the last day.
“I really enjoyed the fact that Djamila opened her home to us, but in the end I thought the last day was a bit of a letdown,” says Tamara. “There was no breakfast at all, we ran out of coffee. At one point it was half past nine in the morning. I hadn’t eaten anything. So I sent her a message,” she shares. She quotes Djamila’s response: “’What do you mean? There is bread, there is fruit and you can fry an egg.’ Anyway, I went looking for bread and fruit. There wasn’t. And ‘you can fry an egg’: I would never say that to my guests,” says the new housewife.
No more girl strips
Susanna and Hella were also guests of Djamila and said that there was indeed little to eat when the hostess was not present. Hella therefore addresses Djamila. “If you make expectations very high in advance, people will go there with very high expectations,” says the party planner while she is exercising with Djamila. “Then on Sunday, when there is no breakfast… it doesn’t matter to me, because I don’t eat.” Hella states that she does not complain, but Djamila thinks differently. “There was food in the cupboards.”
Besides, she doesn’t understand the whole problem. “You don’t even eat,” she says of Tamara. “And there was just food. She got a photo of where it was. Everyone just has hands, right? I also don’t think you can let one morning out of five days ruin everything. You act like everyone is starving. Just act normal.” She is completely done with it. “I don’t organize girl trips anymore.” Clearly! So we won’t see the housewives strolling together through the streets of Mallorca anytime soon.
