From timeless to trendy: Charlene can do it all.
Want to look stylish? In winter we quickly reach for a timeless wool coat. And what could be more elegant than a camel-colored coat? Princess Charlene has been a big fan of the neutral color over the years, but now proves that camel can also be worn in a nice on-trend casual outfit. We list her looks.
Classic and timeless
Although we look back on that period in which Charlene only appeared on the scene in outfits from the Swiss luxury brand Akris with few positive feelings, we had little to complain about this tone-on-tone outfit in December 2022.
However, the apparently simple outfit comes with a hefty price tag. For example, the fashion experts at UFO No more already reported that she was wearing the Flavin trousers (€740), with a caramel turtleneck (€850), and the Emotion trench coat (€4,450) over that. Even the belt around her waist (€400) was from Akris. Total price: €6440.
Chic and casual
At the end of January, Charlene also appeared in an outfit with beige camel tones, but then she took a significantly more casual approach than above. On the occasion of her birthday, Charlene, Albert, and twins Gabriella and Jacques took a trip to the Marché de la Condamine, where a deliciously decadent birthday cake awaited their highnesses.

Here Charlene was dressed in a camel-colored Max Mara waistcoat. Cool, casual, and nice and practical – we don’t often see the Serene Highness like that. Sweet detail: as we often spotted, mother and daughter were dressed matching in camel and light gray. Sweet!
Sporty in Louis Vuitton
At the beginning of this month, the princely family took another pleasant trip. They appeared in the stands at a basketball game this weekend. Charlene must have drawn inspiration from all kinds of sports fanatics for the occasion, because she showed up in style in a sporty hoodie.
Of course, we’re still talking about the luxury-loving royals of Monaco here, so this isn’t just any hoodie. No: this is a cashmere copy from Louis Vuitton with a price tag of around €4,700. Oh well, going with the trends has its price.
