In September 2022, many British royals traveled to Scotland, where the late queen’s humble home stood. The British family gathered to sit together at the Queen’s deathbed. However, an important family member was missing there.
Kate consciously chose not to pay her last respects to the Queen. Rumor has it that this is largely due to a rift between Prince Harry and the British family. Prince Harry is said to be very disappointed in his family because only he was asked to travel to Scotland to pay his last respects to his grandmother. Harry in turn would have suggested that Kate not be present. Hmm…
The truth

And guess what? Kate was not kindly asked to stay home at all. She chose to stay at home with her offspring. Pourqoui? Because the children had their first day of school on September 8. As a parent you naturally want to be there, so Kate and Wills had agreed that at least one parent would be present on the first day of school. A palace staff member also confirmed this to Daily Mail: “It was purely a coincidence, and not a conscious decision. But it made it easier to tell Harry that he too had to come alone.”
