The new season of Big Brother has only just started, but already one resident is insufferable. Lenie (52) is the older resident in the house and really comes across as a kind of father. A rather strict father with his own rules, which the other residents must adhere to. This is much to the irritation of viewers on social media, who would prefer to see him (and the rules) leave.

Since the start of the new season of Big Brother, a lot of people have been glued to the TV again. Not only are the daily TV broadcasts well watched, the live streams on Videoland are also a great success. We see the first residents Alice, Karen, Tyron, Danny, Ashley, Ariana, Tom, Sonja, Randy and Lenie in the famous Big Brother house. We then follow Ronahi, Dilano and now Basiri in the new, second house: the mirror room. A group that is quite popular, with Ronahi, Tom and Ariana, for example, already becoming favorites. However, Lenie appears not to be a favorite with viewers on social media at all.
Lenie, who previously participated in the RTL5 program Bij Ons Op Het Kamp, is a rather bossy type in the house. It almost seems as if he is Big Brother himself. It is probably due to his older age, which makes him feel called to be the ‘father figure’. Unfortunately, he is a very strict father. He has made up his own rules that all residents must adhere to. He hopes to keep the house in order. ‘Big Bro’ himself also likes a tidy house. The rules should help keep it clean. And that is why Lenie takes his rules very seriously, as we see in the reality program. Ashley is the first to receive a punishment. Lenie found her thong lying around, so she had to give him a coin. Oops!

Annoying rules
Although Lenie may mean well, viewers find it rather irritating. He is also very fond of his rules and constantly insists on the household tasks that residents have to perform. Very nice that he helps his ‘landlord’, but it is not necessary. Everyone is an adult and the big ‘landlord’ sometimes intervenes himself. He’s always watching. For example, Lenie once received a comment from ‘Big Bro’ that he had to change clothes. He was still walking around in his dressing gown at the time. Ha! If he continues like this, viewers would like to see him go as quickly as possible. “There is only one Big Brother, Lenie,” someone writes on social media channel X, while another hopes this is a secret mission of his. “Not that he’s really such a nasty man.”
