Nobody would have expected this honest confession! Jennifer Lawrence (33) and her husband, gallery owner Cooke Maroney, tied the knot in October 2019. After dating for around a year, the loving couple celebrated their wedding in a beautiful castle in the coastal town of Newport. But apparently there can be no question of a dream wedding. Now the Hunger Games actress is admitting how she really felt on her wedding day.
The wedding was actually supposed to be the most beautiful day of your life, but apparently not for Jennifer. “It’s so tiring. You just don’t have fun as a bride. You just ask yourself: ‘Are the guests okay?'” the 33-year-old reveals in an interview with E! News at this year’s Golden Globes. Jennifer continues: “I almost went crazy because I thought the guests were cold.” However, all her friends assured her that no one was cold. “Only my mother was brutally honest and said: ‘It’s freezing out there, your grandmother almost died,'” the film star jokingly mentions.
At the Golden Globes, however, she not only shone with her honest, humorous confession, but also with her enchanting look. Jennifer wore an elegant navy blue velvet Dior dress with a plunging neckline and floor-length hem. She was nominated for best actress for her performance in the movie “No Hard Feelings.” In the end, it was not she, but her good friend Emma Stone (35) who was able to prevail in this category.
