The case continues to cause a stir. There is currently a huge crisis between Cher (77) and her son Elijah Blue Allman (47): In October last year, the singer allegedly commissioned men to kidnap her son and send him to a rehabilitation clinic because of his drug problems. The mother-son duo is currently fighting in court Cher would like to take over the guardianship of her son. But now the music great has to cope with a setback: Cher is denied guardianship of her adult son for the time being!
This is reported by the Daily Mail, among others. Accordingly, no one will be the 47-year-old’s guardian for the time being. Another hearing is scheduled for January 29th. According to court documents Cher “worked tirelessly, Elijah to get him into treatment to get him the help he needs.”
Elijah “I believe that my wife would have priority if she had to be appointed guardian, but I don’t need that either,” he explained in an interview. Although he believes that his mother only “wants the best for him,” he believes that he “doesn’t need her unsolicited help or support right now.”
