King Charles sets new rules for Christmas

King Charles sets new rules for Christmas

There are strict rules! The British royals can expect a slightly different Christmas this year: While they are maintaining the old customs and traditions for this year’s festival of love, King Charles III. (75) has expanded the guest list this year: In addition to the usual visitors, a large part of Queen Camilla’s (76) family will now also be present for the first time. On the occasion of the extended list of participants, Charles has now set a new rule!

As a source close to the palace told OK! reports, there will be a strict ban on cell phones at the celebrations: “It has been made clear that this year there will be no cell phones, photos or selfies at the dinner table. Only controlled and approved images will be made public.” This measure should be taken primarily to protect high-ranking members of the royal family. “It sounds funny, but the truth is they don’t want a photo of the king trying to put a fried potato in his mouth to appear on social media,” the insider explains.

It is still unclear whether Prince Harry (39) and his family will be among the many visitors – although both Charles and his youngest son are said to be not averse, as a tipster recently told New Magazine: “There have been discussions about a possible meeting with the King on Boxing Day or even over New Year[…].”
