The pregnancy glow is clearly present!
In April, the Jordanian court announced the happy news that Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa are expecting a child together. Since then we have spotted the pregnant princess in public a time or two, but otherwise it has remained eerily quiet around the expectant parents. Until now, because we are treated to beautiful new photos of the very pregnant Rajwa!
Declaration
In an official statement, the Jordanian court delighted us with wonderful news earlier this year. “The Royal Hashemite Court is pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein are expecting their first child this summer,” said Jordan. “On this occasion, the Royal Hashemite Court extends its warmest congratulations to Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah and wishes Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein and Princess Rajwa good health and joy as they welcome their baby.”
Spotted at the baby store
Three weeks after the announcement of her pregnancy, Rajwa was photographed on the occasion of her thirtieth birthday. And they were beautiful photos – not that – but we couldn’t discover a baby bump on the princess at the time. Fortunately, we spotted it a little later. Rajwa then went shopping at the local baby store and could no longer hide her pregnant belly.
New photos
Last Saturday it was exactly one year ago that Rajwa and Hussein got married. In honor of the special day, the Jordanian court shared new official photos of Rajwa, who is due to have her first child this summer.

In the snapshots we see a beautiful, heavily pregnant Rajwa who is radiant like never before. We can say that the princess has a real pregnancy glow about her!
In an interview with Al Arabiya, Hussein briefly spoke about the pregnancy. “We are very excited about this new phase in our lives,” said the prince. “Everything changes when you have children. What will fatherhood bring? Don’t know. But I’m looking forward to it and my family is excited. Definitely my mother. She bought the first baby things weeks ago.” So you see: royal or not, mothers remain mothers!
