Fritz Wepper (82) hasn’t been in good health lately. The actor is not only in deep mourning for his recently deceased brother Elmar Wepper (79) – he is also struggling with his health. The voice actor had to go to the hospital a few days ago due to renewed blood poisoning. He is now doing well given the circumstances. Fritz’s wife Susanne assumed the worst!
“The condition of Fritz was very serious at first. I don’t know how many times I’ve thought of this in the past few years Fritz said goodbye,” Susanne confesses in an interview with Bild. Hoping and fearing that everything will be okay costs her a lot of energy because she is very restless and tense. “When the all-clear comes, the tension drops and you are so exhausted , that you could just fall asleep in a second. You can’t prepare for it either. It hits you hard every time,” the 49-year-old continues.
The next few days have to Fritz but still remain in the hospital – but there is a ray of hope. “But I can go home for a few hours on Christmas Eve,” he reveals. Because his family gives the 82-year-old a lot of strength. He explains: “No medication can replace the boost of energy. Despite everything, I’m looking forward to Christmas.”
