Former national player Max Kruse is ending his football career

Max Kruse (35) blows the whistle! In 2007 the footballer had Werder Bremen celebrated his debut in the Bundesliga. After that he was for the FC St Pauli, SC Freiburg, VfL Wolfsburg and Union Berlin. He wore the German national football team’s jersey a total of 14 times. At the end of November, his contract with SC Paderborn was finally terminated. Now announced Max also his final career end.

“I have decided that today is the day when I will say goodbye to professional sports. It is not easy for me,” he announced to his followers in a live stream on Instagram. Now 35 years old, it’s for Max time to start a new phase of life. “I will never turn my back on sport. You will definitely see me again in football,” he continues. However, the kicker does not want to accept a position as a coach.

After his career ended Max now has a lot of time to concentrate on his family. He is currently planning to move with his wife Dilara, who was seen in the Celebrity Big Brother house a few weeks ago. He has a son from a previous relationship who lives with his mother in the USA.
