A little Catherine at Christmas dinner: how sweet!
The Wales’ official Christmas card already went out last week, but as part of the Christmas spirit, Princess Kate treats us to another sweet snapshot. This time not from the whole family, but from Kate herself, as a 2-year-old toddler in 1983. Sweet!

When you say Kate, you say Christmas. The princess loves Christmas and everything related to it. Every year she puts on the most festive outfits, takes charge of the Together at Christmas event and, if we’re lucky, plays a tune on the piano en public.

Kate was there early again this year with the royal Christmas cards. She and the family kicked off with a card with a beautiful black and white portrait of the family. And opinions may be divided about the depiction of certain body parts in the photo – it remains a sweet snapshot of the Wales!

With a view to the approaching end of 2023, Kate must have decided to delve into the archives, because a sweet snapshot from the old box appeared on the official Instagram account of the Prince and Princess of Wales yesterday. In the photo, which was taken in 1983, we see a 2-year-old Catherine at Christmas dinner.

The princess shares the photo in the context of Shaping Us, the charity she is committed to. “I’m sharing some festive memories this Christmas because #ShapingUs is about the vital importance of our early years and the role the people around us play in shaping the rest of our lives,” Kate captioned the photo.
Two drops of water
In the comments, fans are all commenting the same thing. They see quite a few similarities with Prince Louis in the photo of little Catherine. “I think we can all agree that Louis is the spitting image of his mother,” one person wrote. “This is literally Prince Louis if he were a girl,” said another. So we see again: the royal apple doesn’t fall far from the tree either.
