Máxima is tonight at the Opening Night 2024 of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in the Nelson Mandela Park in Amsterdam-Zuidoost. The free open-air concert takes place in a different part of the city each year. Queen Máxima is the patroness of the orchestra.
Before the concert, Queen Máxima will speak with members of the Leerorkest, former participants of Concertgebouworkest Young and several orchestral musicians. Under the direction of Andrés Orozco-Estrada, the Concertgebouworkest will play works by Richard Strauss, Camille Saint-Saëns, Igor Stravinsky and Arturo Márquez. Recent music by Scottish Anna Meredith and Dutch composer Joey Roukens will also be played. Musician, rapper and singer sor will join the orchestra to perform a number of his own songs in new orchestral arrangements.

For the musical evening out, Máxima went fashion-wise over the masculine bow. Read: black trousers, white blouse and black scarf that hints at a tie.
