Will Princess Stephanie have a grandson or granddaughter?
The Grimaldis are expecting yet another addition to their family soon, as Princess Stéphanie’s son Louis Ducruet and his wife Marie are expecting a second child! The couple have already revealed the gender of the baby on Instagram.
Gender reveal
Louis and Marie recently announced that they are expecting their second child. The couple did this with a cute photo of their daughter Victoire and dog Pancake, with the caption: “Pancake and Goudilokje have an announcement to make… they are expecting a new brother or sister, the family is growing 😍❤️”.
And by now we also know if Victoire is going to get a brother or a sister: “It’s gonna be a… GIRL 🌸”, Marie writes on Instagram. She also shares the sweet images of the gender reveal party, complete with balloons and confetti.

Is it just us, or does Louis look a little dazed in the last photo? Oh well, at least he has dog Pancake to lean on a bit amidst all those girls…
Big family
The announcement of Marie’s second pregnancy didn’t really come as a surprise. When their first daughter was nine months old, Hello! Magazine conducted an exclusive interview with Louis and Marie. And guess what? The man of the house in particular dreams of a large family. The arrival of Victoire opened the door to family life for the couple. “Victoire is such a cute child,” Marie said at the time. “She made us want another one. Two children would be perfect for me.” Louis then went one step further: “We don’t want our children to have a big age difference. We’ll see what the future brings!”
For Princess Stéphanie, this will be her second grandchild. And we have no doubt that she is also looking forward to the arrival of the little sprout: if you are a grandmother, then why not a whole herd, nun?
