While we are hopping from rain shower to rain shower here in the Netherlands, Máxima is enjoying her holiday in the Greek sun. And of course she always has her weapon against UV radiation and curious glances close at hand: sun hats.
I will try to give you a complete overview of all sun hats, but there is a big chance that I will forget one. If you miss one in the overview, please let me know. It is appreciated!
The first one is also my favorite: Máxima’s fedora from 360Five Everyday. The 13 centimeter brim casts a big shadow on the face and the natural material offers UPF50+ certified UV protection.
Number two came into view during a recent UN trip. It is a design by Sunseeker.
In St. Eustatius in 2017, Maxima is seen wearing a blue straw sun hat. Label: J. Crew.
Máxima bought a copy made of recycled paper at the Dutch hat label Bronté.
Also from Bronté: a straw-colored fedora.
During Sail 2015 she is seen wearing a modest one with black ribbon. Label unknown.
A year later, the sun hat reappeared at the Olympic Games.
Just before Victoria of Sweden’s wedding (2010), a trilby came into the picture.
