We know that Harry and Meghan prefer to keep aloof from everything that happens within the British palace walls these days, but now they seem to be making an exception. According to insiders, the couple is very concerned about the health of Charles and Kate, and have even reached out to wish them well.
Health issues
Last week was very disturbing for the British royals. Princess Kate shocked everyone with the news that she had undergone abdominal surgery, and less than a day later it turned out that King Charles was also in hospital for treatment for an enlarged prostate. Today there is the sad news that Sarah Ferguson has been diagnosed with cancer for the second time.
Get well soon wishes
Like the rest of the British population, Harry and Meghan also appear to be concerned about their family members. According to The Mirror, the couple even broke the long silence with the royal family to wish Charles and Kate well. They have “reached out in various ways to convey their concerns and best wishes,” the newspaper said.
Endgame
It remains to be seen whether Harry and Meghan’s compassion is so desired by Charles and Kate. The get well wishes came quite recently after the release of Endgame, and we can say that both the King and Princess of Wales did not fare particularly well. Both royals were associated with statements about little Archie’s skin color. And let’s be honest: it’s not the only accusation H&M has (indirectly) leveled at them.
Anyway: it remains a thoughtful gesture from Harry and Meghan to support their rejected family members during this difficult period. Fortunately, things seem to be going well for both Charles and Kate. And how great would it be if these events led to a reconciliation between Harry, Meg and the other royals?
