Prince William gives a health update on Kate

During a visit to Newcastle he was asked how Kate and the children were doing.

Prince William’s life has undoubtedly been turned upside down since Princess Kate’s serious diagnosis. When he was asked yesterday how his wife and children are doing, he gave a short update.

Visit

William visited the British towns of Seaham, County Durham and Newcastle, where he met the finalists of the Earthshot Prize he created. Part of his visit was the opening of James’ Place, a facility that supports area men struggling with suicidal thoughts. According to Mirror, this region has the highest male suicide rate in the entire country.

Health update

At the opening there were people who wanted to know how Kate and their offspring were doing. One of those present asked the crown prince: “May I ask how your wife and children are doing?” To which William replied: “They are all fine, thank you. Yes, we are doing well.” Although we did not exactly receive a very detailed answer to the question, we are happy to hear that – considering the circumstances – the family is doing well.

William most likely didn’t have time for a longer answer given his busy schedule that day. He previously visited Low Carbon Materials to learn more about low-carbon construction products.

Strong bond

Princess Kate’s cancer diagnosis is currently the biggest challenge in the Waleses’ lives. However, author Robert Jobson said that Kate’s illness has only made the bond between her and Prince William stronger. “I’m sure they are aware of the situation they are in now, knowing that their strength lies in being together. The ups and downs they have endured together have strengthened their bond, which is now completely unbreakable,” said Jobson.
