Eloise wears daring top during awards ceremony

Princess Laurrentien and Countess Eloise won prizes last night. They won the audience award at the Women of the Year Awards. Black yet festive clothing was also featured.

The award ceremony is an initiative of Harper’s Bazaar magazine and focuses on women who know how to connect. The comment about Laurentien and Eloise was: “They break all royal stereotypes and use their accessibility to commit themselves, and do so in an accessible way.” For those wondering how; the princess by fighting against low literacy, Eloise by her commitment to a more sustainable fashion world.

Fashion
Let’s start with Eloise, because her black top with a daring cut-out attracted all eyes. And speaking of eyes: no expense has been spared in terms of make-up. At least not on the amount of makeup.

Princess Laurentien brightened up the evening in a black top with a bare back and three buttons at the center front. We know the coat with geometric motifs from an earlier work visit and matches the neck corsage. Red accessories gave the whole thing some color.

The cloak is a design by Tara Jarmon.

The platform soles are from Islo Isabella Lorusso.

To their great surprise, the prize was presented by Prince Constantijn, who was dressed in a black suit with a black turtleneck. A combination that almost always works out well, and so did last night.
