A new Jordanian royal on the way!
The Jordanian court shares happy news today. Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa are expecting their first child! The royal sprout is expected this summer.

The Jordanian court announced the wonderful news in a statement. “The Royal Hashemite Court is pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein are expecting their first child this summer,” said Jordan. “On this occasion, the Royal Hashemite Court extends its warmest congratulations to Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah and wishes Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein and Princess Rajwa good health and joy as they welcome their baby.”
Cherry on top
The joyful anticipation of Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa is the cherry on top of their wedding, which took place last year with the necessary pomp and ceremony. With a small, intimate ceremony and a subsequent party in the middle of an obviously madly in love couple, it must have been a special day. Willem-Alexander, Máxima and Amalia must have known, because they were among the 140 guests and even got an impressive spot in the front row – right next to the bride’s parents!
