Not again! Prince Harry (39) and Meghan Markle (42) always seem to come under criticism. Since the two said goodbye to their royal duties and moved to the USA with their son Archie Harrison (4), the conflicts between the couple and the royal family have not stopped. Now rumors arose that Queen Elizabeth (✝96) was not happy with her great-granddaughter’s choice of name – but that’s not true!
Journalist Robert Hardman has claimed in his forthcoming book that the Queen became angry when she heard her great-granddaughter’s name. An insider spoke to Us Weekly and contradicted this statement. According to him, Meghan and Harry had asked his grandmother for permission beforehand. In addition, royal biographer Omid Scobie confirmed that the naming had not caused a dispute in the family, but was rather seen as a compliment.
The name Lilibet Diana (2) is intended to honor Queen Elizabeth, who had the name “Lilibet” as a nickname, and Princess Diana (✝36), Harry’s mother. In the meantime it also came out that Meghan patented the name before her daughter was born. Could this be problematic for the royal family?
