Sleep more as a good resolution
You probably know all the classics when it comes to good intentions: exercise more, lose weight, save more money, and so on. All – literally – good intentions of course, but actually another resolution should also be on your list. Or better yet, this one should be at the top of your list. Of course we’re talking about getting more sleep! Why? We’ll explain it to you.
Sleeping is the best resolution
How well do good intentions actually work? Most people make a list of things they want to change in the coming year. These are often quite serious resolutions: lose so much weight, only eat healthy. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to maintain it – which is why many people give up in January.
But with a new resolution, which is actually the most important, you do have the chance that you can actually maintain your good intentions. You just need to sleep more. A good night’s sleep is essential for achieving your resolutions.
Adopt new habits
Do you want to exercise more? Then you need a good night’s sleep. Do you want to get up earlier? Then you indeed need a good night’s sleep. This actually applies to almost every good intention! Your body needs a lot of energy to deviate from your old habits. Of course, it is no small feat to suddenly make all kinds of changes in your daily life. More energy = more chance of success. Early to bed tonight!
