From Posh Spice to Daughter-in-law Spice.
Of course, you can consider yourself lucky to have a glamorous mother-in-law like Victoria Beckham. So the chance to borrow an item from her almost endless wardrobe sounds like a dream come true, nun? For Nicola Peltz Beckham, however, this is just your average Wednesday.
Victoria’s clothing brand
There is nothing wrong with Nicola’s mother-in-law Victoria Beckham’s sense of style. She has been running her eponymous fashion brand Victoria Beckham since 2008 and the label seems to be becoming more successful over the years. Many A-listers have a Victoria Beckham in their closet. Daughter-in-law Nicola was also spotted several times in one of her mother-in-law’s creations. The 29-year-old wore a VB look during the premiere of the Netflix documentary Beckham.
Of course, it is logical that as a loving daughter-in-law you occasionally wear a piece of clothing from your mother-in-law’s collection. But borrowing an iconic piece of clothing from her own wardrobe is of course something different. However, it appears that Nicola has recently gained access to Victoria’s wardrobe.
Spotted in the iconic racer jacket
During Victoria’s Spice Girl days, the former singer experimented wildly with her looks and hairstyles. Some looks more successful than others (anyone remember Victoria and her husband David Beckham’s head-to-toe leather looks in 1999?).
The black, white and blue biker jacket that Victoria wore in 2001 definitely falls under the heading of successful. The Dolce & Gabbana jacket has become an absolute icon and none other than Nicola was spotted in it last Wednesday during Paris Fashion Week. She and her husband Brooklyn Beckham were probably in town for Victoria’s AW24 fashion show.

Nicola also shared the look on her social media. She also posted a photo of her mother-in-law who was rocking the jacket at the time. “My style icon,” the actress wrote.

In 2022, Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham tied the knot after a two-year relationship. The two exchanged vows in Palm Beach, Florida. Shortly after the couple became husband and wife, rumors circulated that Victoria was not exactly getting along with her new daughter-in-law. For example, Page Six wrote that a source told them that Nic and Vic don’t talk to each other and that their vibe is “horrendous,” even though the women never showed any signs of a broken bond.
In fact, the two seem to get along well. For example, Nicola shared a sweet post on Instagram at the time to congratulate her mother-in-law on her birthday. “You are such a role model to me and I love you so much,” her message read at the time.
