Saturday evening was all about surprises during the Make Up Your Mind program. Olof Ormeling, known from B&B Vol Liefde, caused a stir when he entered the stage as a mystery queen. With his complete transformation as a drag queen, he had become completely unrecognizable. Only one jury member knew who was behind Corazon’s glamorous look.
Make Up Your Mind
In addition to the big revelations from Alberto Stegeman and Maarten van der Weijden, it was time for the mystery queen to make her appearance on the stage of Make Up Your Mind. After a short performance and a graceful walk on the catwalk, it quickly became clear: Olof had stepped into the shoes of drag queen Corazon. How fun?!
Incredible experience
According to Olof, his participation in the program was an ‘incredible experience’. He tells the camera of RTL Boulevard: “I really enjoyed Make Up Your Mind. I won’t soon forget that.” It was quite a challenge to guess who was behind the beautiful appearance of mystery queen Corazon. Of the entire jury panel, Nikkie de Jager was the only one who recognized Olof. According to the reality star, the other judges had no idea. “They even thought I was Louis van Gaal for a moment.”
‘Nothing wrong with that’
“When I looked in the mirror there, I didn’t recognize myself properly,” says Olof. It is therefore not surprising that the judges had difficulty guessing the name of the mystery queen. “Fine, nothing wrong with that,” Olof joked when Carlo asked him what he thought about participating in Make Up Your Mind.
Olof <3 Margje
Although Olof originally participated in B&B Vol Liefde with the hope of finding love with Marian in Portugal, no romance blossomed between them. But luckily Olof has now found his true love! Together with his new partner, Margje, he was able to prepare well for the program. Margje reveals in the same conversation with RTL Boulevard that they practiced lip syncing in front of the mirror and perfecting his walk on the catwalk. “He has such a recognizable laugh, such a broad smile. I told him to avoid that, otherwise they would immediately notice,” says Margje. “I thought he did a great job,” she adds. How cute is that! You can view the images of Olof as Corazon below.
