Tomorrow, the platform will launch a special new feature that will make it even easier to get the designer items at the top of your wish list: the long-awaited ‘Buy Now’ feature.
This button makes it much easier for treasure hunters to obtain a rare Birkin bag, for example. Participating in an auction is no longer necessary. The ‘Buy Now’ button will appear at the bottom of the item and will disappear 24 hours before the auction ends if the item has not yet been sold. This offers buyers the opportunity to purchase directly as well as participate in an auction. For example, a Rolex Explorer was sold in this way within one minute, and a Hermès Kelly changed hands for a record amount of €25,000 via the ‘Buy Now’ function.
