Simon Keizer remained rather in the shadows after the break with his singing partner Nick Schilder. It was quiet around Simon and his (musical) solo career for a long time… until now! On Friday, December 1, there will finally be new music from his side. Together with Paul de Leeuw he releases the song Het Komt Wel Goed, which they will probably also sing together on Pakjesavond in Paul’s show Sint & De Leeuw.

The breakup of the former singing duo Nick & Simon is now months behind us. However, their fans will still be a bit upset about it. Fortunately for them, Nick Schilder soon came up with new music. This way they still had someone to support. Well, now the fans can support both singers again, because Simon Keizer also seems to be finally back in the music world! On Friday morning, December 1, he and TV maker Paul de Leeuw will drop the new song Het Komt Wel Goed, which they made together. Ooh! On Instagram, Paul writes: “We saw each other more and more often this year, so it felt good to release something together.”
The new song comes into the world at the right time and gives hope for a better future. But not only for the people in the Netherlands and the rest of the world. The song also seems to be a hopeful message to Nick & Simon fans, who miss Simon’s music quite a bit. Is this the start of his solo musical career? Simon previously indicated in an interview with RTL Boulevard that he “doesn’t want to feel pressure anymore”. “I don’t want to have to anymore,” said Simon.

The Streamers
There is a good chance that the collaboration between Paul and Simon started at The Streamers, where they of course know each other from. Simon is one of the ‘band members’ within The Streamers and Paul does the catering for the special band full of well-known Dutch artists. Although Paul and Simon know each other from more things. In the past, Simon also contributed to Paul’s TV program Busje Komt Zo. It is therefore not surprising that Simon will soon appear again in a TV program by the TV presenter. Yep, on December 5 we will get the TV premiere of Paul and Simon’s new song in Sint & De Leeuw.

It has now become a tradition at the NPO that Paul invites Sinterklaas to a TV program. Although he is not only inviting Santa this year. Paul’s wish list contains only one wish: to sing a song with Simon for Santa. Well, that promises a TV fragment with a Sinterklaas in tears. We will probably hear the TV premiere of Paul and Simon’s song Het Komt Wel Goed. We are curious!
