The young prince had a great time!
It now has the same look as imposing headgear, limp hands from waving, and designer outfits: when Prince Louis is present at a royal event, you can almost assume that he will steal the show with his lively character. This weekend was no exception!

…Prince Louis always guarantees a lot of cheerfulness, hilarious facial expressions and spontaneous actions at the otherwise tightly regulated royal events. That’s why it’s no wonder that the youngest member of Prince William and Princess Kate is a welcome face at the Windsors’ many royal events.
Trooping the Colour
Although it was mainly his grandfather, King Charles, and his mother who were in the spotlight last Saturday, little Lou Bug also managed to grab his moments.
For example, several keen viewers spotted that the young prince was dancing during the traditional marches:
While the Royal Band played and there was a lot of marching on Horse Guards Parade, Princess Kate, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis stood on one of the balconies to watch the proceedings. Although Louis managed to keep a straight face for most of the day, he couldn’t resist moving along to the marching music.
Sweet detail: in the images it looks like his big sister, Princess Charlotte, is trying to stop her little brother. As we often see with the daughter of Wills and Kate, she is the one who knows the protocols by heart and the one who calls her brothers to order. That will become something when George, Charlotte, and Louis are older!
