And the winner is…
Last night the final of Miss Netherlands 2024 took place, and here, after an evening full of glitter and glamour, the beautiful Amber Rustenberg was crowned as Rikkie Kollé’s successor.
Spectacular evening
There was a big party yesterday at Studio21 in Hilversum, because the evening was all about the Miss Netherlands final. In addition to the ten finalists who were in the spotlight, spectacular performances by Jaap Reesema, Carolina Dijkhuizen, PATRICIA, Gaia Aikman and Michel Mulder, among others, completed the evening.
After the presentations of the ten finalists, Amsterdam’s Amber Rustenberg and Sofie Vellinga (23) remained, after which 26-year-old Amber walked away with the title. She received the title with words of praise from the jury. According to the jury, the new Miss Netherlands is eloquent, authentic and intelligent. The jury also saw that Amber has a confident and positive outlook on life, and she also radiated her warm personality on stage. Beautiful!

Jury
This year the jury consisted of photographer William Rutten, Glamial’s own Annelies Pijper, presenter Bart Ettekoven, football referee Shona Shukrula, Miss Netherlands 2022 Ona Moody and jury chairman Monica van Ee.
Of course, Miss Netherlands 2023 Rikkie Kollé was also present. She was allowed to present the sash to her successor and then officially passed the baton when she placed the crown on Amber’s head.

A beautiful evening with a very happy winner. The Miss Netherlands final was extra special this year. Not only was the new Miss Netherlands announced, but it was also the 45th anniversary of main sponsor Hannah Skin Improvement – something that was also celebrated exuberantly with, among other things, the launch of a brand new product: the FlairoSun.
