Within an hour you can be in cozy and vibrant Antwerp. We love Antwerp. There are delicious restaurants, beautiful shops and a fun nightlife. You are really on holiday and away from the Netherlands. While you are already at Schiphol or Amsterdam Central Station after an hour. Perfect for a getaway! Are you traveling with student public transport? Then try this hack to get to Antwerp for free. Take bus 19 from Breda station and get off in Antwerp. A short metro ride and you are in the middle of Antwerp. That’s definitely worth a try!
London
Do you really want to get away for a while and even leave the EU? Then choose charming London. From Amsterdam you can reach lovely London within four hours. If you add everything up, you can get to London faster by train than by plane. No hassle with security, long lines and a maximum number of kilos of luggage. This means you can completely empty Oxford Street if you choose to take the train.
Berlin
A slightly longer train journey, but it is definitely worth it. From Amsterdam you can reach the German capital Berlin within just under six hours. Berlin is one of the greenest cities in Europe with a lot of culture. Eat a delicious currywurst and experience the pub life of vibrant Berlin.
Paris
Meet early in Amsterdam and have brunch with a delicious fresh croissant in Paris. You can be in the French capital within three hours. Another nice city in Belgium is Brussels. You know, the city of waffles, fries and Manneken Pis. If you depart from Schiphol, you can enjoy a delicious Brussels waffle after an hour and a half. You can experience a lot of culture here, visit good museums and enjoy delicious food and shopping. Also a really nice place to sneak away for a while. Recommended!
