What do you need for a matcha cake?
- 3 eggs
- 150 grams of sugar
- 150 grams of butter
- 150 grams of flour
- Half a bag of baking powder
- 1 tablespoon matcha
- 75 grams of white chocolate chips
- A little flour and butter for the cake tin
This is how you make a matcha cake
- Preheat the oven to 170 degrees and remove the butter from the refrigerator so that it can soften.
- Take a mixing bowl and add the butter and sugar. Mix the ingredients for about 5 minutes until the mixture is creamy and light in color.
- Now add the eggs little by little while continuing to mix. After this, you also add the other ingredients: matcha, flour and baking powder. Mix the ingredients together well. Finally, add the chocolate chips to the batter.
- Now pour the batter into a baking tin treated with butter and flour and place it in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
