Of course, the life of the Oranjes largely remains a secret, but every now and then we can enjoy a little bit via Instagram. Throughout the year, the Royal House has shared quite a few fun moments, of which these are our favorites!
1. Dances in Aruba

According to the Glamial editors, one of the absolute royal highlights of 2023 took place at the beginning of the year. At the end of January, Willem-Alexander and Máxima traveled to the Caribbean with Amalia. It was a trip full of firsts, tropical surprises, and fun dances. Because it wasn’t just the queen who showed off her dance moves – Wim-Lex also flexed his hips to everyone’s surprise. The Crown Princess walked away, a little taken aback, but with a big smile.
2. Cuteness overload

In February, the Royal House posted this photo of Máxima with a baby in the Princess Máxima Center. Cute!
3. Beatrix’s boat

Another beautiful royal moment: Princess Beatrix launching her own sailing yacht De Groene Draeck.
4. Colorful King’s Day

On King’s Day, the Oranges surprised us with their colorful outfits. Princess Alexia was conspicuous by her absence, but four-legged friend Mambo more than made up for that loss.
5. The family complete

The annual photo session took place at the end of June. Alexia was present, and how! Together with her sisters, the princess made a stunning impression. And, admittedly, Mambo managed to steal the show again.
6. Take out the flag

On July 10, Alexia heard that she had passed her final exams. It resulted in a cheerful video in which the princess proudly hoists the flag.
7. Ariane to Italy

At the end of August, Ariane left for Italy to continue her education there. Wim-Lex took this sweet photo of the princess upon arrival.
8. Fashionable Prinsjesdag

2023 was a year of firsts for Alexia. The princess made her first appearance at Budget Day, and was fashion-wise on par with her mother and sister!
9. Beatrix in the Antilles

Beatrix loves the Antilles, and the Antilles love Beatrix. The princess visited her favorite islands in November and that resulted in a lot of touching images.
10. Animal lover Máxima
