Just wait a little longer and then we can also see Toteme’s jewelry line.
The well-known Swedish fashion brand Toteme, known for its minimal aesthetic, now makes its customers even happier with the arrival of a real jewelry line. The brand shared the happy news last Monday.
Jewelry line
“I have always had a vision to design additional pieces to our collections,” said Elin Kling – creative director of Toteme. “It feels very exciting to finally be able to offer our first jewelry line.”
Although Toteme has become a real phenomenon in recent years, the brand has not been around for very long. For example, Kling co-founded the fashion brand with Karl Lindman in 2014. From the brand’s inception until now, Kling and Lindman have always positioned the fashion label as a resource for modern women looking for unique designs. In 2019, they thought it was time to expand and the label launched shoes. Not much later (in 2022, ed.), bags followed. And now, almost a year later, we can also enjoy Toteme’s beautiful jewelry line.
The designs
“The designs fit ‘an effortless way of dressing, while at the same time making a statement’,” Kling explains. The designs of the jewelry are not exaggerated, large or overwhelming when we look at the colors, but instead contain delicate link chains. In the jewelry line we see diamonds in the rings and the bracelets exude a subtle elegance, which is what Toteme stands for.
The favorites
However, Toteme is not the only fashion brand that has chosen to also create a jewelry line. We also saw a lot of bling jewelery on the Prada and Saint Laurent catwalk. It was one thing that was certain that a step towards a jewelry line would happen. But Kling also says that she is a great lover of jewelry. “Jewelry has always had an emotional resonance for me. Some of my most treasured items are the understated vintage pieces that I wear every day.”
And as a jewelry lover, Kling also has some favorite jewelry from the collection, she reveals. “Two come to mind: the statement bracelets, I like the idea of collecting them all over time. And the ‘cigar ring’ that you wear over your knuckles, it fits perfectly next to my wedding rings!”
