The Spanish royal couple will celebrate their twentieth wedding anniversary tomorrow.
Tomorrow marks twenty years since King Felipe and Queen Letizia tied the knot. And to celebrate this joyful milestone, the Spaniards are treating us to a number of new snapshots.
Twenty years of love
To mark the special day, the Spanish royal family has released a series of beautiful new family photos. Posing in the stately gardens of the Royal Palace of Madrid, the couple is sweetly photographed with their daughters Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía.
Letizia looked casually chic in white trousers and a tweed blazer, in our favorite color with the Queen: pink. She wore her dark brown locks casually but neatly blow-dried, with one side behind her ear. As for her makeup, the queen opted for a subtle brown smokey eye.
Her daughters looked equally beautiful. Princess Leonor, like her mother, opted for white trousers, but opted for a baby blue blazer. Her sister Sofia opted for white on top, but combined it with blue jeans. The sisters, like their mother, opted for a subtle make-up look. What did we notice? The ladies have discovered lip gloss!
The princesses clearly have an exceptional bond with their mother, which is clearly reflected in this sweet picture. But my father also took his moment and was photographed intimately with his eldest daughter.
Another anniversary
Last weekend, a wedding anniversary was on the royal agenda. Prince Harry and Meghan were married for six years on Sunday. However, this was celebrated less festively than in Spain. The milestone was ignored from all sides on social media, just as they previously did with Prince Archie’s birthday.
Previous birthdays and milestones were commemorated by the British royal family. For example, Kate and William and King Charles posted photos and congratulations for Archie’s first birthday, but since the couple’s move to the United States it has remained quiet on special days, as they are no longer working royals.
