Do you see the resemblance?
We probably don’t have to explain that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. But sometimes we see snapshots of various royal descendants where they look so much like their older relatives that we still scratch our heads.
Get some fresh air
It looks like Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank have started their year fresh with a holiday in sunny Jamaica. A few of their friends shared photos via Instagram where the Brooksbank family can also be seen beaming. For example, Hello! Magazine here is a snapshot in which the princess at the front left is clearly distracted from the photo by her youngest son, Ernest, while toddler August poses enthusiastically in his green t-shirt for the sunny snapshot.
Although this photo is of course very sweet (and quite enviable, given the current temperatures in our little country), royalty watchers notice a special detail about the cheerful group.

August would be exactly like his second cousin, Prince Harry! We dug into the archives for some photos of the Duke of Sussex in his younger years, and we have to say: we can see the resemblance!

Of course we noticed that August Brooksbank has a darker hair color and also has some traits from his father’s side, but the Windsor genes are also clearly present in the eldest member of Eugenie and Jack!
Big Brother
What the two do not have in common is that August is the older son in the Brooksbank family, where Harry had Prince William as a big brother. Last summer, York’s Princess Eugenie gave birth to her second child with hubby Jack. She announced the big news at the time via Instagram with a sweet photo.
The caption then read that little Ernest George’s full name is Ronnie Brooksbank. “He is named after his great-great-great-grandfather George, his grandfather George, and my grandfather Ronald,” she explained.
“Augie is already loving being a big brother,” she concluded her post. We are already very curious whether young Ernest will also look like his royal family members when he grows up!
