What a wonderful reward!
At the end of the last season of Echte Gooische Moeders we saw how Leslie Keijzer finally overcame her fear of flying after ten years of not flying. It resulted in a well-deserved holiday in Zanzibar, which the reality star is now enjoying with her family.
Overcome fear
In Echte Gooische Moeders we have seen Leslie try to get on the plane so many times. Time and time again, fear won over willpower, but in the end she succeeded and she flew to Ibiza. That positive experience has resulted in her now daring to fly a lot further. She recently boarded a flight to Zanzibar, which took a whopping nine hours. Leslie shares how that went on Instagram.
Long flight
“I’m proud that we can be here! Who would have thought: read for 9 hours on a plane,” Leslie writes with a series of photos from during the flight. She is happy that she did it again, although not without the necessary resources. “Long live sleeping pills and alcohol,” she jokes. Although she and the children slept a lot, the trip did not go completely smoothly. They occasionally flew through stormy air, and it was noticeable in the plane. Fortunately, Leslie had a great solution for that. “When there was turbulence, I pretended I was driving a safari with Moises (her son, ed.),” she says.

Fortunately, the family arrived in Zanzibar in one piece and they have been enjoying all the beauty that the tropical destination has to offer for a week now. “We are having so much fun! I don’t want that so much for myself, but especially for my three men,” says Leslie. “Finally they come first instead of always having to take me into account.”
