This year, Prince William (41), Princess Kate (41) and their three children opted for a modern picture in which everyone is dressed in jeans and a white top. Prince Harry (39) and Meghan (42) decorate their card with a picture that shows them at an event in September – but without their children. A total of 1,777 readers took part in the vote – 1,460 people (82.8 percent) are of the opinion that the Christmas card from the heir to the British throne and his loved ones is much more personal and therefore more beautiful. Only 317 people (17.8 percent) are of the opinion that the Christmas greeting from Harry and his Duchess is the nicer model.
But the royal couple seems to be a little ashamed of their Christmas card. According to an insider, Kate and William are “embarrassed” because there appears to be a Photoshop glitch in the picture. The two were “just as shocked as everyone else” about the faux pas and the resulting reaction online, the source told US Weekly.
