Nice! Jegor and girlfriend receive positive baby news in Over My Corpse, viewers in tears: “so welcome”

The popular TV program Over My Corpse is always very emotional. However, the latest episode is a little more emotional. Reactions are pouring in on social media from viewers, who, among other things, have cried along with the terminally ill Jegor (31) and his girlfriend Daisy. After a number of negative pregnancy tests, the fulfillment of their desire to have children is finally closer!

Yegor in Over My Corpse

In the popular but very emotional TV program Over My Corpse we see, among others, 31-year-old Jegor. In 2015, he started experiencing a lot of headaches and other vague complaints, for which he went to the doctor. After much insistence, he sends him to a neurologist, where – again after much insistence – he gets an MRI scan. Unfortunately, there is no good news from this: he has a malignant tumor in his brain. Fortunately for him, he is still in time. During brain surgery, the tumor is completely removed. Although there is a good chance that the tumor will come back.

Unfortunately, this also happened in 2019. After the death of his father, who died of cancer, this logically comes as a blow. The treatment also appears to be longer lasting, although his situation is currently still stable. Something that is nice for him, because it means he still has enough time with his girlfriend Daisy, among others. He is very happy with that. In fact, things are going so well that they soon think of children. “Normally that’s fast when you’ve only been together for a year, but in our case our relationship started so intense right away,” Daisy says on the Over Mijn Lijk website. As a result, they probably entered this phase more quickly. In addition, they do not know exactly when Jegor’s life ends. That’s why they enjoy life to the fullest together.

Positive baby news

So Jegor and Daisy’s desire to have children is great. They also try very hard. For example, in Over My Corpse we see how they do multiple pregnancy tests. Only it doesn’t happen right away. In February 2023, Jegor is a little less patient than usual. “Just show me that test,” he says, after which Daisy takes out the pregnancy test. Then the expression on her face says more than enough. “Do you know what this means?” she asks Yegor, who can’t believe it. He has to ask several times if it is real. And then the realization comes and he becomes silent. Tears are sliding from his eyes and Daisy can’t keep it dry either. “Wow, wow, wow,” Jegor then responds.

Jegor’s reaction is completely understandable for viewers on social media channel X. They completely sympathize with the couple and sit in front of the TV in tears. “So happy for Jegor and Daisy,” writes a viewer. Finally!

Exciting first ultrasound

Now that Jegor and Daisy are officially expecting their first child, it is time for a first ultrasound. Jegor thought it was an exciting moment, but luckily everything was fine. “Between the two of us, I’m a bit of a stress person,” he says afterwards in the car. That is simply because of all the negative results he has had in the past. “All scans or ultrasounds, that image of what you see, everything is negative for me,” he explains. “First my father, who died of cancer, of which I saw the synthesis every time. And then me with the MRI. That’s why this is very exciting for me.”
