Máxima in burgundy red during a working visit to Socialdebt

Queen Máxima paid a working visit to Socialdebt in Microlab Rotterdam this morning. This is a ‘fintech for social debt collection’ that helps young people with emerging debts to pay them off as quickly as possible and guides them to a financially stable future.

Queen Máxima and Minister Schouten will attend a pressure cooker meeting with young people who are helped to solve their debt problems via the Socialdebt app. The organization takes over the debts owed to various claimants up to an amount of 2,500 euros. This prevents debts from increasing further. This gives young people the opportunity to repay from one institution and at their own pace, without interest or fines. Through the app they are also guided to get their financial affairs in order and they receive budget and savings tips for a financially stable future. During the pressure cooker, the young people share ideas about how 2,500 euros of debt can be converted into 2,500 euros in savings and which method of saving suits them best. The results will be shared with Queen Máxima and Minister Schouten.

Fashion
For the working visit, Máxima brought out a burgundy top with waterfall neck and gray trousers from fashion house Natan.

Here is a quick compliment to Minister Schouten. She always looks neat and tidy!

The set is not new. Máxima was also seen with it during the working visit to FastFeetGrinded, February 2023.

Today’s earrings come from the studio of the German jewelery house Hemmerle. For those who don’t understand the name: Hemmerle supplies one-of-a-kind jewelry, made from the best and most beautiful materials. Although you can easily pay 50,000 euros for a pair of glitter with gemstones, the designs look anything but decadent, expensive and/or flashy. It seems as if the jewelry house wants to achieve the opposite effect. This is often due to the unusual material combinations. Copper with moonstone, mammoth with walrus bone, 18th century iron and so on. Máxima’s earrings made of copper and a type of stone unknown to me are very typical of Hemmerle’s style.

And it might also be nice to know: Máxima also follows Hemmerle – just like me – on Instagram. Highly recommended for those who love special jewelry!
