Máxima, Amalia, Alexia and other Royals at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games

The presence of several Royals clearly shows that the Olympic Games are being held close to home this year. Last night at the opening ceremony, many European Royals made an appearance. Among them King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima, Princess Amalia and Princess Alexia.

According to the Facebook page of the Royal House, besides King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima, Princess Amalia and Princess Alexia were also present at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games. They will be present at various parts of the Olympic Games until July 30. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find any photos of Amalia and Alexia at the opening ceremony.

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima were received by French President Emmauel Macron and his wife Brigitte. The Dutch athletes were cheered on by the royal couple from the stands as the boat sailed along the Seine. Queen Máxima wore a dark blue pantsuit with a white shirt by Denham x TeamNL Paris. She has orange accessories with her, which she waves. Her bag is from One & Only.

Monaco

Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco were present at the opening ceremony together with the twins Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella. Charlene was dressed in a white jumpsuit by Louis Vuitton. Her silver bag is also from Louis Vuitton and the silver slingback pumps are from Gianvito Rossi.

Denmark

King Frederik and Queen Mary also made an appearance. Mary wore a bright red blouse by Jesper Hovering on white trousers. Her red pumps with studs are from Valentino.

Belgium

Queen Mathilde, pictured here with King Philippe and the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, wore a red dress by the Natan fashion house.

Luxembourg

Grand Duchess Maria Teresa wore a blazer by Alexander McQueen, a light top by Giorgio Armani and black trousers by Elie Saab.

Spain

Queen Letizia wore a sleeveless dress – with shoulder straps – by Carolina Herrera.
