The reason for this was probably the consequences of a kitchen fire in his penthouse in Los Angeles, BILD reported. “As I wanted to light the gas plate with my lighter, a high flame suddenly shot out. I backed away and fell backwards with my head on the floor,” explained the businessman. The smoke from the fire triggered the alarm, which alerted the emergency services. Frederick was taken to a hospital.
The former reality star candidate inhaled the toxic gases and had to stay in the clinic for a few days. “I’m miserable. My chest hurts like hell, I can barely speak and can’t see properly because my eyes are burning so much. It’s all really weighing me down mentally,” the 80-year-old complained in an interview with BILD.
