In March, his separation from his ex Michelle became known. Just a few months later he met his current partner Leyla, with whom he could hardly be happier. In his Instagram story, the father of one son says: “No. Leyla doesn’t currently live with me.” However, this is planned for the long term. “Everything about the apartment, for example the couch, we chose everything together with the idea that Leyla would move in here at some point, because I don’t really want to leave the apartment for the next three, four, maybe even five years,” explains the former Celebrity Separate contestant.
By the way, Leyla also gets along well with Matze’s ex Jenefer Riili. This year they’re even spending New Year’s Eve together: “We’re all there and having a party and we’re all taking care of the food together, all of us drinking together and of course cleaning up and preparing.”
