Enjoy the rock musical Jesus Christ Superstar
Last Sunday the musical Jesus Christ Superstar premiered in the DeLaMar theater in Amsterdam. None other than Jeangu Macrooy plays the role of Jesus. Freek Bartels takes on the role of Judas, Edwin Jonker plays Pilate and Magtel de Laat plays the role of Mary Magdalene. The unforgettable text and music by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber – together with a live orchestra – form the basis for this theater spectacle sung entirely in English. That couldn’t be anything other than a top musical!

Would you like to watch something fun this weekend? Since this week you can stream the series Griselda on Netflix. In it, Sofia Vergara plays the Colombian Griselda Blanco who flees to Miami after killing her violent husband. She has connections in the drug world and decides to become a drug boss. A profession like this is of course not popular, but certainly not in Miami, where they already have many drug bosses and they are not looking for one who is a woman.
Netflix also expanded its offering with the documentary La sociedad de la nieve: who were on the mountain?, the eighth season of Queer Eye, the film The Favorite and the first season of Love Deadline.
On Amazon Prime you can now stream the thriller You’re Not alone, the first season of Girls’ Play and the action film The Collective. On HBO Max you can watch the second season of the thriller series You shall not lie and Disney+ renewed its offering with the action film The Negotiator, the crime thriller Runner, Runner and the documentary The Jewel Thief.
