Oops: Peter Gillis must close his ‘main holiday park’ in Brabant immediately

Things are only going in the bad direction for Massa is Kassa star Peter Gillis. Not only is the reality star experiencing personal problems with his ex Nicol, things are also not going well at his holiday parks. It is now known that he must immediately close his ‘main holiday park’ in Brabant. Oh oh! The municipality will not grant him any permit, because there is a ‘serious danger’ that he will abuse the situation for criminal purposes.

Peter Gillis must close the holiday park immediately

Holiday park Prinsenmeer is located in the Brabant village of Ommel, which is his most important holiday park for Massa, Box Office star Peter Gillis. However, this holiday park must close immediately. The municipality of Asten – which includes Ommel – no longer issues him any necessary permits. So the catering, environmental and operating permits are withdrawn by the municipality. Why? There is said to be a ‘serious risk’ that the entrepreneur will misuse the permits for criminal purposes. Peter tells AD that he is “severely disappointed” about the decision. He does not yet know whether he will appeal against the decision: “I have not gotten that far yet.”

Tax fraud?

Since last year, all holiday parks in the municipality of Asten have been subject to new rules. As a result, Peter’s holiday park suddenly needed a permit. A Bibob test was required for this application. This checks whether there is a risk that the entrepreneur will misuse the permit for criminal matters, such as money laundering. And Peter failed this Bibob test. Oh dear.

Exactly why Peter failed the Bibob test remains a secret. However, five mayors previously announced that they are done with the entrepreneur. According to them, he regularly breaks the rules. He is also suspected of tax fraud.

Clearing the holiday park

The terrible thing about the situation is that many permanent residents of the holiday park will soon be on the street. In addition to holidaymakers, there are people living illegally in the park. It is unclear exactly how many people live there. According to the mayor of Asten, these people will be given the opportunity “to look for a new place”. They get an extra month for this. Holidaymakers must be gone before next Saturday.

There is a chance that other holiday parks will also have to close. Four other municipalities also want to require an operating permit from Peter, for which he must again take a Bibob test. If he fails this test again, the same thing will happen as with his holiday park Prinsenmeer.
