New year, new trends! But what will we see the most this year?
Tartan
We already said it: 2024 is not going to be a boring fashion year. On the contrary, it could all stand out a little more. The comeback of tartan cannot therefore be a surprise – of course with a fashionable update so that your outfit does not give off too many Scottish Highland vibes. The tartan comes in many colors, but we will see more of the red, almost punk-like tartan in particular next year, although yellow is also doing very well.

More red
It was fun, but after several seasons of Barbiecore we will leave the color pink alone next year. On the other hand, we are not tired of color itself. In fact, it could stand out a bit more. We will therefore see more red next year. A red co-ord is nice, but we expect that the fashion-loving public will mainly respond to this trend by including more (dark) red accessories in their daily look.

Mary Janes
Although the Mary Janes are not the it shoe of the season, the shoe has been spotted on the street more often in recent years. Next year we will take things a step further, we expect Mary Janes to become more mainstream, and the less chunky version in particular will be very popular.

Also hot and happening
We will see more of the above trends, but we know that the new year will not only consist of three trends. Canary yellow will also become more popular next year, and this will not only happen when spring arrives. As far as accessories are concerned, we will see the choker more often, but of course with a 2024 proof update, so statement chokers in particular will gain in popularity. Finally, we will also see more gray jeans next year.
