We have already seen a few leaked versions of it in recent days, but now the official Christmas card is finally here. And there is nothing casual about that, as befits the Monegasques!

Over the past few days we have seen quite a few Christmas cards in review. And what particularly stood out? For a set of ‘Christmas’ cards, there was often little Christmas about them. For example, the Belgians treated us to a sweet family photo that seemed to have been taken sometime in the summer, the Spaniards and the British royal couple made clever use of previously taken snapshots of big moments, and the Waleses shared a beautiful photo, but here too everything was missing. trace of Christmas spirit.

Fortunately, we can always count on the princely family from Monaco! Modest? No! Christmas atmosphere? Yes! In their best festive outfits, Albert, Charlene, Gabriella, and Jacques proudly pose next to a beautiful Christmas tree.

While most other royal houses have opted for a we-remain-as-usual approach, the Monegasques are beaming at us in full regalia. How sweet are those complementary father and son bow ties in the ultimate Christmas colors? Or the velvet dresses of mother and daughter in jewel tones? We love!
The Palais Princier captioned the photo: “The Princely Palace invites you to discover the Christmas photo of the princely family.” Here too, there is no trace of a personal Christmas message, but oh well. With so much glam and festivities in one snapshot, we are easily satisfied.
Christmas atmosphere in Monaco
Moreover, it is not the first time this December that the Monegasques are fully engaged in Christmas celebrations. For example, Charlene attended the Bal de Noël a few days ago, where she made an impression in a beautiful glittery dress. Last weekend Albert and Charlene also opened a Christmas market together, which unfortunately their twins could not attend. Reportedly, they were both not feeling well, and therefore exceptionally did not have to go with mom and dad.
